This policy covers Spark & Polish Publisher, the internal tool Spark & Polish uses to publish its own content to its official TikTok account.

Data we process

When the Spark & Polish TikTok account is connected, the tool receives from TikTok: the account's open ID, display name and avatar (scope user.info.basic), and an access token and refresh token that allow it to publish content (scopes video.publish and video.upload). It also keeps a log of the carousels published and the status returned by TikTok.

Purpose

This data is used only to show which account is connected and to publish Spark & Polish's own carousels to it. It is not sold, shared or used for advertising, and no data about other TikTok users is collected.

Storage and retention

Tokens are stored on a server in the European Union with restricted access and are deleted when the account is disconnected or the authorisation is revoked on TikTok.

Your rights

You can revoke access at any time from TikTok (Settings › Security › Apps and services) and request deletion by writing to info@sparkandpolish.com. For the online store, see the store privacy policy.
